Potuan Maiden

Quick sketch for a blog post that will hopefully go up soon--a visualization (that may be inaccurate as I didn't really consult the text) of a maiden of Potu, where, despite the text being set in the late 1600s (if I remember correctly), even a young maiden could hold high office (Potu is derived from Utopia backwards, and gender equality and other socially progressive elements figured into that), given she had sufficient skillz and a high number of branches/arms, since, at a pragmatic level, more arms translates into getting more shit done. Text in question is "Niels Klim's Voyage Under the Ground", by Danish author Ludvig Holberg, from the same period as "Gulliver's Travels".
